Manish Paul has been associated with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa since years now. The happy go lucky lad has been hosting the dance reality show since the last few seasons and has shared the stage with the likes of Kapil Sharma and Ranvir Shorey. Manish is a goofball to say the least and luckily, fans will get to see his antics in the upcoming season of JDJ! The Mickey Virus actor will be seen as a host but will go solo this time around. Manish was supposed to share the stage with the popular RJ Pritam Singh but the latter recently walked out, over creative differences with the production team. In an EXCLUSIVE video interview with Bollywood, Manish stated that it was good to be back for another refreshing season.
JDJ 8 is special not only because of the popular contestants associated with the show but also a special judge- Shahid Kapoor! The hunk who is currently busy with his wedding preparations, will be seen at the Jhalak panel along with Karan Johar, Lauren Gottlieb and Ganesh Hegde. So what does Manish have to say about Shahid’s grand entry as a judge in the show? “I’m very excited because I’m having a great time with him. He’s a lot of fun. A lot of people think that he’s serious because of the kind of roles he’s done like Haider. But he has a lot of fun. His and mine leg pulling has already started since the first episode,” said Manish!
When asked on whether he is missing his Dhak Dhak girl and favourite judge Madhuri Dixit Nene, Manish said, “Yes, I’m definitely missing Madhuri mam a lot, not only because she was a part of the show but I genuinely love her. I missed her on the first day but the show must go on.”
